Kgomotso Matsunyane is a dynamic broadcaster, writer, filmmaker and producer based in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

She is an accomplished documentary director and has been a commissioning editor for drama at SABC1, after which she was editor at The Oprah Magazine (SA).

She is a former partner at T.O.M. Pictures, where she hosted “Late Night with Kgomotso” as well as produced the last 3 “Soul City” series for TV.

She was a co-producer on the series “A Place Called Home”, and the movies “Gums and Noses”, “Jozi” and “Material”.

Kgomotso wrote columns for News24.com, True Love Magazine & Afropolitan, and is the former host of ‘Good Morning Gauteng” on Kaya FM and ‘The Weekend Breakfast with Kgomotso Matsunyane’ on Talk Radio 702/567 Cape Talk.

She is currently MD of her own company, O.M.A.H.D. Films, cc – a feminist TV and Film company with an emphasis on sexual and reproductive health.
